Nothing like having a few drinks and singing "Let's Stay Together" at the top of your lungs. Bug reneged on his promise and didn't get behind the mic; he was too busy dealing with the drunk old guy in the first pic who kept trying to steal his hat.
NYC: BASTA meeting
Beginnings of a project with Bug on housing conditions in NYC. BASTA is a community group based out of Make the Road, a New York area non-profit group. Here, members and visitors of the organization's Brooklyn office meet once a week to discuss issues and situations impacting the community, focusing mainly on tenants' rights.

Aftermath
I survived my first tornado last night...to steal bug's Koudelka quote: "I am still alive, life is good"
My apt was not so fortunate. I had just finished cleaning my room when the storm hit...
my refuge...had to cover myself with the shower curtain to avoid flying shrapnel (mini blinds and glass), some cuts and bruises sustained, in true photog fashion i secured my camera and comp before securing myself...oh, and i found my fisheye cam in my kitchen sink...it was originally on my nightstand...yeah
