Feasting in Astoria

If you want really awesome greek food in NYC, you gotta head to Queens...by the time Kim heads back to Texas, I'm going to have an entirely new food portfolio on my hands.

The Electric Lassi Acid Test

Panna II, East Village:  This neon sardine can of a restaurant was a purveyor of delicious Indian food and a total mindfuck at the same time.  And it's BYOB.  Therefore, I highly recommend it.

Manhattan Bridge

Little Italy

Tiramisu and cappuccino at Caffe Roma at Mulberry and Broome en route from Chinatown to Union Square.  So glad we decided to walk back, and so so glad we stopped here, it was by far the best tiramisu I have ever had.

dirt cheap yet oh so delicious lunch at a random noodle house on Bowery

Had a blast roaming lower manhattan with this lady today...she is hell bent doing an eating tour of NYC's various neighborhoods, and I can definitely say we covered a lot of ground in four hours.  Still a long way to go for the next 5 days, but more on that later.
